MAGA Kanye West GOES VIRAL AFTER DESTROYING Obama, Omar, Tla1b & Dems.

1n Ep1c Oval Off1ce Speech

Uh, but somet1mes they’re 1n placement of law enforcement, they need to be law powers.

Force versus power.

When you have You shouldn’t have to force people to do that.

So, a lot of t1mes a pol1ce off1cer 1s s1tt1ng there, they’re be1ng forced to do th1s and forced to do that.

Block1ng and then they force somebody 1nto someth1ng and force someth1ng.

We have to release the love throughout the ent1re country and g1ve opportun1t1es.

A lot of t1mes 1t’s just the overall lack of reparat1ons that we at any g1ven po1nt we say, “Oh, th1s 1s rac1st.

Th1s 1s rac1st.

Th1s 1s rac1st.

Th1s 1s rac1st.

” So, we don’t have the reparat1ons, but we have the 13th Amendment.

We got to open up the whole conversat1on.

So, and uh that’s a move One of the moves that I love that l1berals tr1ed to do the l1beral would try to control a black person through the concept of rac1sm because they know that we are very proud emot1onal people.

So, when I sa1d I l1ke Trump to l1ke someone that’s l1beral, they’ll say, “Oh, but he’s rac1st.

” You th1nk rac1sm could control me? Oh, that don’t stop me.

That’s an 1nv1s1ble wall.

>> I mean, you ever watch someth1ng and just th1nk, “Yeah, th1s 1s go1ng to cause headl1nes for weeks?” Because that’s exactly what happened here.

A room full of reporters, pol1t1cal f1gures, and power players expected a controlled Wh1te House moment, but 1nstead they got Kanye West openly challeng1ng how rac1sm 1s d1scussed 1n Amer1can pol1t1cs, quest1on1ng med1a narrat1ves, and reject1ng the 1dea that black voters must automat1cally al1gn
w1th leaders l1ke Barack Obama, Ilhan Omar, or Rash1da Tla1b.

I’m Kate, and welcome back to Cap1tal Pulse.

Before we go further, h1t l1ke, subscr1be, and share because what you’re about to hear 1sn’t just a celebr1ty speech, 1t’s a coll1s1on between pol1t1cal expectat1on and 1nd1v1dual th1nk1ng.

Let’s d1ve 1n.

>> I want to start w1th th1s.

Uh, I I I brought a I brought a g1ft w1th me r1ght here.

Um Th1s r1ght here 1s the 1Plane 1.

It’s a hydrogen-powered a1rplane, and th1s 1s what our pres1dent should be fly1ng 1n.

Look at th1s, Jared.

>> So, get r1d of A1r Force One.

Can we get r1d of A1r Force One? No, you don’t l1ke that 1dea.

>> Well, well, we’re go1ng to have Apple, Amer1can company, work on th1s plane w1th.

But, you know what I don’t l1ke about It’s not that I don’t l1ke What I What I need Saturday N1ght L1ve to 1mprove on, or what I need the l1berals to 1mprove on, 1s 1f he don’t look good, we don’t look good.

Th1s 1s our pres1dent.

He has to be the freshest, the flyest, the flyest planes, the best factor1es, and we have to make our core be 1n power.

We have to br1ng jobs 1nto Amer1ca, because our best export 1s enterta1nment and 1deas, but when we make everyth1ng 1n Ch1na and not 1n Amer1ca, then we’re cheat1ng on our country, and we’re putt1ng people 1n pos1t1ons to have to do 1llegal th1ngs to end up 1n a cheapest factory ever, the the pr1son system.

>> I’ll tell you what, that was pretty 1mpress1ve, huh? You know, I hate to say th1s, J1m.

Do you want to say someth1ng, J1m? What do you do after that? >> If you don’t m1nd my >> You’re you’re a You are f1t You Please, J1m.

Please.

>> If he doesn’t look good, we don’t look good.

>> Yeah.

>> Great statement.

>> That’s r1ght.

>> Isn’t that a great statement? >> Yes, 1t 1s.

>> It’s so true as a country.

It’s so true.

I’ve never seen J1m Brown 1mpressed before.

He was 1mpressed.

That’s true.

That statement 1s amaz1ng, huh? >> So, you you you had sa1d of of Pres1dent Bush that he doesn’t care about black people, and you you’ve heard some people say that about th1s pres1dent.

What do you How do you respond to that? What do you make of that? >> I th1nk we need to care about all people.

And I bel1eve that when I went on to NBC, I was very emot1onal, and I was programmed to th1nk from a v1ct1m1zed mental1ty, a welfare mental1ty.

I th1nk that w1th w1th blacks [clears throat] and Afr1can Amer1cans, we really get caught up 1n the 1dea of rac1sm over the 1dea of 1ndustry.

We say 1f people don’t have land, they settle for brands.

We want uh Polo Sport and Obama aga1n.

We want a brand more than we want land because we d1dn’t have 1t known how 1t feels to actually have our own land and have ownersh1p of our own blocks.

So when you don’t have ownersh1p, then 1t’s all about how someth1ng looks.

It’s about the pat1na, 1t’s not about the so1l, 1t’s not about the core.

So we focus more on does somebody wear1ng someth1ng, does someone d1srespect me so I got to I got to shoot them or the 1dea of someone be1ng rac1st.

You know, we talk about uh pol1ce uh uh uh murders, wh1ch we def1n1tely have to d1scuss and we have to uh br1ng nob1l1ty to the to the pol1ce off1cers and to make the cuz pol1ce off1cers are just l1ke us.

But th1s 1s th1s whole hate bu1ld1ng, r1ght? And that’s a a major th1ng about rac1al tens1on.

And we also as black people, we have to take a respons1b1l1ty for what we’re do1ng.

We k1ll each other more than uh pol1ce off1cers.

And that’s not say1ng that the pol1ce off1cer 1s not an 1ssue because they are 1n a place a pos1t1on of power.

Uh but somet1mes they’re 1n placement of law enforcement.

They need to be law powers.

Force versus power.

When you have you shouldn’t have to force people to do that.

So a lot of t1mes a pol1ce off1cer 1s s1tt1ng there, they’re be1ng forced to do th1s and forced to do that block and then they force somebody 1nto someth1ng and force to someth1ng.

” So we don’t have the reparat1ons, but we have the 13th Amendment.

” You th1nk rac1sm can control me? Oh, that don’t stop me.

That’s an 1nv1s1ble wall.

>> Mr.

West, what would you l1ke >> the th1ng that you you you you reject when they say he’s rac1st.

>> one quest1on you go through to another quest1on.

>> Okay.

>> I answered your quest1on.

I don’t answer quest1ons 1n s1mple sound sound b1tes.

You You are tast1ng a f1ne w1ne.

It has a mult1ple notes to 1t.

You better play 4D chess w1th me l1ke 1t’s M1nor1ty Report cuz 1t a1n’t that s1mple.

It’s complex.

>> Mr.

Pres1dent >> I’m from the Ch1cago Sun-T1mes.

So, I would l1ke to know what you would l1ke to ask Pres1dent Trump to do for Ch1cago.

You’re here to talk about cr1me 1n Ch1cago.

I’m >> The The th1ng that um that the uh head of the pol1ce and um M1ke Sacks met w1th me last n1ght at the Soho House about was we feel that stop and fr1sk uh does not help the relat1onsh1ps 1n the c1ty.

And everyone that knew I was com1ng here sa1d, “Ask about stop and fr1sk.

” That’s That’s That’s uh the number one th1ng that we’re uh hav1ng th1s conversat1on about.

Uh another th1ng 1s open1ng up 1ndustr1es, and we’ve got to get some tax breaks too because No, we’re mak1ng um we got to speed factory 1n Atlanta, but the shoes are cost1ng us $300, so 1t’s cost1ng us too too much to make th1ngs.

So, we need some prototypes here so we can get people back work1ng so Ch1na can’t just beat us and V1etnam can’t beat us.

You got Lev1’s, the greatest jeans company 1n the world mak1ng the1r jeans 1n uh 1n V1etnam.

So, we’re go1ng to need to get a few breaks to be able to have some places 1n my hometown of Ch1cago and the 2.

7 m1ll1on to the 9 m1ll1on surrounded suburbs where we can create some factor1es.

Now, I th1nk 1t’d be cool for them to be Trump factor1es, cuz he’s a master of 1ndustry.

He’s a bu1lder.

And I th1nk 1t’d be cool to have Yeezy 1deat1on centers, wh1ch should be a m1x of educat1on that empowers people and g1ves them modern 1nformat1on.

L1ke, somet1mes people say, “Th1s k1d has ADD.

Th1s k1d has ADD.

” He don’t have ADD.

School 1s bor1ng.

It was bor1ng.

It’s not as exc1t1ng as th1s.

We have to make 1t more exc1t1ng.

We have to m1x curr1culums.

You play basketball wh1le you’re do1ng math.

You you you learn about mus1c wh1le you med1tate 1n the morn1ng.

We have to 1nstate mental health and art programs uh back 1nto the uh back to the c1ty.

So, those are uh and also, Larry Hoover 1s an example of a man that was turn1ng h1s l1fe around.

And soon as he tr1ed to turn h1s l1fe around, they h1t h1m w1th s1x l1fe sentences.

So, I bel1eve he’s w1th You say, “Don’t tear down the statues.

” Larry Hoover 1s a l1v1ng statue.

He’s a beacon for us that needs to see h1s fam1ly, that needs to go out and represent.

When you have a block leader on every s1ngle block, they can own the block as the1r own.

That’s someth1ng I learned from J1m Brown from Amer-I-Can.

We need to put curr1culums from people who really came from the streets, not people who are just try1ng to set us up to go 1nto a work system or pr1son system that appl1es to what people are really go1ng through, wh1ch J1m Brown has created.

>> What about gun v1olence w1th all the debate about the Second Amendment go1ng on? >> The problem 1s 1llegal guns.

Illegal guns 1s the problem, not not not legal guns.

We have the r1ght to bear arms.

>> Pres1dent Trump has sa1d that he favors stop and fr1sk.

Are you guys go1ng to be d1scuss1ng that? Do you th1nk you can change h1s m1nd? >> Yeah, we’re we’re go1ng to we’re go1ng to d1scuss that.

I d1dn’t mean to put you on blast l1ke that, bro, but 1t’s def1n1tely uh >> I’m here.

>> Mr.

Pres1dent, M1ke can just speak at one of your rall1es.

>> He can speak for me anyt1me he wants.

He’s been a great guy.

He’s smart cook1e.

Smart.

He gets 1t.

These two guys, J1m Brown, he’s been do1ng th1s for a long t1me.

Th1s 1s a few >> To understand why th1s moment h1t so hard, you need to understand the pol1t1cal env1ronment beh1nd 1t.

Amer1ca has been 1n a long-runn1ng debate about 1dent1ty, race, and pol1t1cal loyalty.

And Kanye West stepped d1rectly 1nto that debate, not as a pol1t1c1an, but as someone refus1ng to accept the usual rules of pol1t1cal conversat1on.

>> Future pres1dent1al cand1date? >> Uh could very well be.

>> Only after that >> Could be 2024.

We we we got a We we we have a good And the th1ng 1s, let’s stop worry1ng about the future.

All we really have 1s today.

We just have today, over and over and over aga1n, the eternal return, the hero’s journey.

And Trump 1s on h1s hero’s journey r1ght now.

And he m1ght not have expected to have a crazy Kanye West run up and support, but best bel1eve we are go1ng to make Amer1ca great.

Now, the th1ng 1s, my another th1ng 1s black people have an 1ssue w1th the word aga1n.

And I bel1eve my feel1ng from that 1s because I’m go1ng to throw 1t I’m go1ng to go all the way S1gmund w1th 1t, cuz t1me 1s a myth.

All we have 1s now.

All we have 1s today.

So, the word aga1n, 1t doesn’t hurt us because of 1dea of rac1sm and slavery and the d1fferent th1ngs.

It It 1t 1t hurts us because we need to focus on who we are now, today.

I I bel1eve.

So, I actually brought some hats 1n that have a b1t of a trans1t1on.

I meant Not try1ng to put you on the spot a l1ttle b1t.

I made a hat that says Make Amer1ca Great.

Just that.

But, I would love to see after the Super Bowl Trump wear1ng the Make Amer1ca Great Hat, Col1n mak1ng wear1ng the Make Amer1ca Great, and show1ng that we can bend a b1t on th1s s1de, we can bend a b1t on th1s s1de, and we can learn how to be malleable 1n the 1nf1n1te un1verse
that we are and the lov1ng be1ngs that we are that we don’t have to st1ck to our trad1t1ons and that we aren’t a s1de.

We are one un1t.

We are one country.

We are one moment 1n h1story and t1me.

We m1ght have been here before, but r1ght now we’re here together and the greatest value that people have are other people.

And we need to stop work1ng on red and blue.

It’s l1ke a gang aga1n.

>> Let me ask you th1s quest1on.

You’re 1n the Oval Off1ce.

>> Okay.

>> How does 1t feel to be 1n the Oval Off1ce? >> Oh, 1t 1s good energy 1n th1s.

>> It’s a good energy? >> It’s good energy.

>> It’s a great place.

J1m, how do you feel? >> I feel good.

>> Good.

>> I truly feel good.

I thank you, too.

>> You are so respected.

And what Kanye 1s do1ng has been 1ncred1ble.

All over the world they’re talk1ng about th1s and I have to tell you I had 1mportant meet1ngs today w1th senators and w1th everyth1ng.

Nobody cared.

They wanted th1s meet1ng.

Th1s 1s the meet1ng.

Is that r1ght? I can say that today.

>> about, you know, >> Uh no, the others were good, r1ght? But th1s 1s what they want.

>> Maybe only you would be here.

>> Well, 1t’s my honor, J1m.

I want to tell you I’ve been a fan of yours for a long t1me.

Long t1me.

Nobody l1ke you.

Nobody l1ke you.

No athlete l1ke you.

>> Well, you know why I’m here? I’m here to serve.

>> Yeah, 1t’s really n1ce that >> I’m not here to ask for anyth1ng.

I’m here to contr1bute.

>> that’s always been the way J1m has been for long t1me.

And he just wanted to help and 1t’s 1t’s someth1ng spec1al.

Jenn1fer, d1d you have a quest1on? >> Um I guess just you what do you feel about stop and fr1sk? Are you go1ng to >> Well, we’ll take a look at 1t.

I’m I’m open to everyth1ng.

Hey, look, I th1nk 1t’s a shame what’s happen1ng 1n Ch1cago.

>> And what else can be done? >> I’m 1n Ch1cago a lot, too.

I have n1ce th1ngs 1n Ch1cago.

You know that, r1ght? And I hate to see what’s happen1ng.

They’re hav1ng numbers that numbers of people be1ng shot and k1lled and 1t’s 1t’s not 1t’s not for th1s country.

So, they have to do someth1ng and I am totally open.

If we can do 1t a d1fferent way, Kanye, I’m totally open.

But, they have to do I mean, we all agree they have to do someth1ng.

That’s the >> Pres1dent, 1s 1t a law enforcement 1ssue or leg1slat1on? >> 1t’s a comb1nat1on of both.

I I guess 1t 1s, but I th1nk 1t’s probably a comb1nat1on of both.

And 1t’s also a respect 1ssue.

They respect th1s guy.

They respect th1s guy.

That’s a b1g th1ng.

R1ght now, they’re not respect1ng Let’s say your mayor or let’s say l1ke me, and we’re go1ng to have lunch.

We’re go1ng to talk.

>> You sa1d >> You sa1d Yes, you know I love you.

D1d I D1d I D1d I I don’t want to put you 1n that spot, but >> No, I’m I’m stand1ng 1n that spot.

I love th1s guy r1ght here.

Let me g1ve th1s guy a hug r1ght here.

I love th1s guy r1ght here.

>> Yeah.

That’s really n1ce.

And that’s from the heart.

I d1dn’t want to put you 1n that pos1t1on.

But, that’s from the heart.

Spec1al guy.

These two respect >> One of the most controvers1al parts of h1s speech 1s h1s d1scuss1on around rac1sm and how 1t 1s used 1n publ1c d1scourse.

Kanye’s argument wasn’t a s1mple den1al of rac1sm as a real 1ssue.

That’s 1mportant to clar1fy.

Instead, what he was push1ng back aga1nst, from h1s perspect1ve, was the 1dea that accusat1ons of rac1sm can somet1mes be used as a pol1t1cal tool to 1nfluence how people th1nk or vote.

He suggested that black Amer1cans are often soc1ally pressured 1nto al1gn1ng w1th a spec1f1c pol1t1cal s1de, and that d1sagreement 1s somet1mes framed as betrayal or 1gnorance.

Th1s 1s where the connect1on to broader pol1t1cal f1gures l1ke Barack Obama, Ilhan Omar, and Rash1da Tla1b comes 1nto the conversat1on.

Not as d1rect confrontat1on, but as representat1ves of modern democrat1c messag1ng that strongly emphas1zes rac1al 1dent1ty, h1stor1cal 1njust1ce, and coal1t1on-based pol1t1cs.

From a Republ1can-lean1ng perspect1ve, Kanye 1s challeng1ng that framework.

He 1s argu1ng for someth1ng more 1nd1v1dual1st1c.

That a person’s pol1t1cal bel1ef should not be predeterm1ned by the1r race, background, or cultural expectat1on.

And whether people agree w1th h1m or not, that argument touches a very real tens1on 1n Amer1can soc1ety.

Because 1n everyday l1fe, people exper1ence th1s pressure 1n subtle ways.

In workplaces, 1f you d1sagree w1th a dom1nant op1n1on, you m1ght stay s1lent.

In schools or soc1al spaces, express1ng a d1fferent v1ewpo1nt can somet1mes lead to label1ng rather than d1scuss1on.

Even 1n fam1l1es, pol1t1cs has become someth1ng people avo1d just to keep peace.

Kanye 1s stepp1ng 1nto that real1ty and say1ng, “I refuse to be boxed 1n.

” Now, another key layer here 1s what he says about econom1c opportun1ty.

Many people overlook th1s part of the speech, but 1t 1s cr1t1cal.

He repeatedly focuses on jobs, manufactur1ng, rebu1ld1ng commun1t1es, and mental health.

Th1s t1es 1nto a long-stand1ng conservat1ve 1dea that strong econom1es reduce dependency, and dependency often reduces freedom.

When people have jobs, ownersh1p, and opportun1ty, they are less vulnerable to pol1t1cal man1pulat1on or soc1al d1v1s1on.

That’s why he talks about br1ng1ng 1ndustry back, espec1ally to places l1ke Ch1cago, areas that have struggled w1th unemployment, cr1me, and generat1onal poverty.

And th1s connects d1rectly back to h1s argument on rac1sm as well.

Because Kanye 1s essent1ally say1ng that wh1le rac1sm 1s a real, h1stor1cal, and soc1al 1ssue, the solut1on 1s not only pol1t1cal blame, but also econom1c empowerment.

Now, here 1s where the med1a react1on becomes 1mportant.

The reason th1s moment created such a strong response 1s not because 1t was pol1shed or pol1t1cally safe.

It’s because 1t was unpred1ctable.

He refused to s1mpl1fy h1s 1deas 1nto short, d1gest1ble statements.

Instead, he spoke 1n layered thoughts, m1x1ng personal exper1ence, soc1al cr1t1que, and pol1t1cal frustrat1on.

And 1n modern med1a env1ronments, that 1s rare.

Most pol1t1cal commun1cat1on today 1s des1gned for headl1nes, 10-second cl1ps, short quotes, clear s1des.

But Kanye d1srupted that format.

He forced a longer conversat1on, and that’s why people are st1ll debat1ng 1t today.

From a conservat1ve perspect1ve, whether you agree w1th every po1nt or not, the core pr1nc1ple he ra1ses 1s 1mportant.

A soc1ety should be strong enough to allow d1sagreement w1thout 1mmed1ate reject1on.

Because once d1sagreement becomes unacceptable, conversat1on ends.

And when conversat1on ends, understand1ng d1sappears.

That 1s the deeper message underneath everyth1ng he sa1d.

At the end of the day, th1s moment 1s not just about Kanye West.

It’s about the quest1on of whether Amer1cans st1ll have space to th1nk 1ndependently about race, pol1t1cs, and 1dent1ty.

I’m Kate, and th1s 1s Cap1tal Pulse.

If you enjoyed th1s breakdown, make sure you l1ke, subscr1be, and share th1s v1deo.

And I want to hear from you.

Do you th1nk Kanye was mak1ng a fa1r po1nt about 1ndependent th1nk1ng and rac1sm 1n pol1t1cs, or do you th1nk the react1on to h1m was just1f1ed? Drop your op1n1on 1n the comments.

Your vo1ce matters here.

Let’s keep the conversat1on go1ng.
