European Union FLAG Torn Down; France Revolts Against EU Amid ‘FREXIT’ Demand | Macron Under Fire

European Union flag torn apart.

Rebellion in the heart of Europe.

After the UK’s Brexit, will Europe witness Brexit? Calls are growing louder in France for the country to leave the 27 member European Union.

And with them, pressure is mounting on French President Emanuel Macron.

Supporters of French politician Florian Philippo gathered in Paris with one clear demand.

leave the European Union.

Protesters accused Macron of harming France’s economy, undermining democracy, and damaging the country’s agricultural sector.

The atmosphere in the French capital was charged as protesters waved French flags and carried signs reading, “Frexit, down with the European Union,” and let’s liberate France.

In one of the rallies most symbolic moments, protesters were seen tearing apart a European Union flag as crowds looked on.

Farmers are dying with Merkasaur.

This is worsening.

We have products from South America.

We have products coming from Eastern European countries, from Ukraine.

They are talking about bringing Ukraine into Europe.

It is the guaranteed death of farmers.

Emmanuel Macron.

What will he leave behind? Trash.

Rubbish everywhere.

He’s destroyed everything.

He served two five-year terms and destroyed everything.

I don’t see how whoever takes over after him will be able to do anything.

Because when everything’s been destroyed, what can you possibly do? The Brexit style calls for a French exit from the European Union are not new.

For years, euroskeepic groups have campaigned for what they call fxit, arguing that Brussels has taken too much power away from Paris.

But anger has intensified in recent months, particularly over the EU Merkasaur free trade agreement.

Many farmers fear the deal will expose them to cheaper imports from South America, threatening the future of French agriculture.

The latest wave of protests was also fueled by criticism of President Macron’s plans for Bastile Day celebrations.

Florian Philippo, leader of the Le Patriots party, accused Macron of turning France’s national day into a celebration of European unity and support for Ukraine rather than French national identity.

Le Patriots has long advocated for France to withdraw from the European Union and restore powers from Brussels back to Paris.

The rally brought together supporters of the party’s fxit platform as debate continues to intensify over national sovereignty, agricultural policy, immigration, and France’s future role within the European Union.

On July 14th, 2026, Emanuel Mcronone wants to make this a day for Ukraine and Europe.

A France that has been sidelined.

A France that has been crushed, betrayed once again.

On our champs, Ukrainian soldiers are marching for a regime that honors Nazis.

Is that why we liberated Paris? No.

The president of the republic is fairly indifferent.

To sum up what he will leave behind, poverty, immigration, the denial of democracy, Atlanticism.

It’s hopelessly mundane.

It’s a continuation of a lawn or sarcoi.

Ultimately, nothing special.

History will forget him.

He’ll be seen for what he is.

Ultimately, someone who thought only of his reelection, who cared very little about France, and that’s it.

History will quickly forget him.

He’s just one among many.

[cheering] An EU flag is torn to shreds in the heart of Paris.

Farmers cheer.

[cheering] And a once unthinkable idea surges back into the open.

France walking away from Brussels.

This weekend, fury spilled onto the streets of the French capital as protesters ripped apart the European Union flag during a rally demanding fxit.

Organizers accuse European policies of choking French agriculture and argue that only a clean break can save farmers, reclaim sovereignty, and restore France’s independence.

The demonstration took place in central Paris and drew more than 1,000 people.

According to organizers, the rally was led by Florian Filippot, leader of the Patriots Party, a sovereignist movement pushing for France’s withdrawal from the EU.

Protesters waved Frenchricolors, chanted anti-EU slogans, and accused Brussels of destroying rural livelihoods.

In a video posted on social media, Philippot is seen holding an EU flag alongside a man he described as an angry farmer.

The pair rip the blue flag with yellow stars in two and throw it into the cheering crowd.

Philippot later wrote that French farmers increasingly believe only Brexit can save national agriculture.

The politician argued that EU policies are now hurting almost everyone in France, not just farmers.

He described the rally as a national march for France’s exit from the European Union and the restoration of independence.

The message has been gaining traction amid months of escalating farmer protests across the country.

The unrest intensified last year after the proposed EU free trade agreement with the South American block Merkaser.

French farming unions warned the deal would flood markets with cheaper imports from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia.

They argue those producers are not bound by the same environmental and safety regulations imposed on French farmers.

Public support for the farmers appears overwhelming.

An Elab poll conducted in December 2025 found that around 8 in 10 French citizens support the farmers grievances.

The anger has now spilled into symbolic acts of defiance against the European Union.

Other countries protect their domestic products and import what they can’t produce themselves.

And now and with free trade agreements don’t Europe does the opposite.

Uh importing what we can make to drive down prices but uh but driving down prices kills the farmer.

And what exactly will that be used for? It will allow them to export internal combustion engine vehicles which is certainly not an ecological model and also aircraft.

And the third major export sector is chemicals.

This means it will enable European companies to export chemical products only for them to send us back food that has been treated with these very chemicals which we are not even allowed to use in our own countries.

So uh uh I would say uh the right across from the town hall of Magnavville.

I hope that other mayors will be able to do the same.

But in any case, I am taking my uh responsibilities for this matter and I will do it live with you.

Last week, defiance moved from the streets into city halls.

In the Sen Valley towns of Magnanville and Garganville, mayors ordered EU flags stripped from their facades, an unmistakable gesture of solidarity with embattled farmers.

As the flag came down in Magnanville, the mayor didn’t mince words.

Down with the EU.

Ursula Vanderlayan out.

Viv Leaf France.

There we have it.

Thank you all for being here.

And I truly hope [cheering] with European symbols torn down, protests spreading beyond the fields and public support swelling, France’s relationship with Brussels is entering a dangerous new phase.

You’ll see that.

What began as a farmers revolt is fast hardening into something far larger.

A national reckoning that threatens to shake the very foundations of European integration.
